ACR Messina Women won the Giardini Naxos leg of the Serie B Beach Soccer championship after a thrilling match. Trailing 0-3, the girls fought back with character and determination, turning the score around to a final 4-3. Bagnato, Donato, Venuto, and Guida scored.
The victory is worth the stage and allows the white-and-blues to continue their journey towards the Final Stage , scheduled for August 2nd in Catania , where a pass to the Serie A beach soccer championship will be awarded to the team with the most points at the end of the stages. Meanwhile, the new club has organized a training camp for Monday, July 27th at the Sorbello Stadium in Bisconte aimed at recruiting fresh talent among the youth. The camp will take place in the presence of Vincent Battiato , head of women’s football development, and the technical staff of ACR Messina Women. The appointment is scheduled between 5:30 and 7:00 pm for the 2014 • 2013 • 2012 • 2011 • 2010 year-olds and from 7:00 to 8:30 pm for girls born in 2009 or earlier.
