A safe club,
on and off the pitch
A.C.R. Messina has adopted an internal regulation setting out the tools used to prevent and address every form of abuse, harassment, gender-based violence and discrimination — whether on grounds of ethnicity, religion, personal belief, disability, age or sexual orientation — affecting anyone registered with the club, and above all its under-18 players.
The regulation applies to the First Team, Women, Futsal and the entire Youth Sector, and binds players, coaches, staff, directors, collaborators and volunteers alike. It is issued in accordance with the federal guidelines on the prevention of abuse, violence and discrimination and with the relevant F.I.G.C. regulation.
Everyone connected to the club is required to read these documents, to work within them, and to report anything that falls short of them. Reports are handled by the Safeguarding Officer and are treated confidentially.
