As reported by Francesco Triolo on Sicilia.it , Messina is ready to present its new signing, Juan Cruz Kaprof (pictured), who will arrive in the city on Saturday. President Justin Davis announced the Argentine’s arrival, describing him as “a player of character and personality” who can make a significant contribution to the team.
Kaprof , 30, is a central striker who played for Quilmes in the Argentine second division and also for River Plate . In Italy, he played for Lecco in the 2020/21 season. In 2015, while playing for River, he was the protagonist with a backheel volley in the EuroAmerican Super Cup victory against Sevilla.
President Davis expressed great enthusiasm for the acquisition, emphasizing how Kaprof could be a significant addition to the team. ” We’ve worked intensely over the past two weeks to finalize this deal ,” he said. ” We believe he’s a player who can bring character and personality to the team and who can make a significant contribution to the club’s transformation and growth.”
The purchase of the Argentine striker therefore adds to the purchase of winger Zerbo , for a Messina that continues to move on the market and is aiming straight for a direct salvation that until a few months ago seemed a real utopia.
