Messina celebrated 125 years of football at the Franco Scoglio stadium in front of over 10,000 spectators, in a stadium transformed into a huge yellow and red embrace for the ” Legend 125 ” event. Banners, chants, and a Curva Sud dressed for the occasion provided the backdrop for the legendary match, led by Cannavaro and Nesta , and refereed by Calvarese .
